We believe in a city that promotes healthy, active living by just living within the city with equitable access to healthy produce and to be physically and mentally engaged.
What We’ve Done:
LiveWell Newport: LiveWell Newport is our coalition dedicated to improving the physical and mental health for all Newport residents.
Health Expo: The regularly occurring Health Expo hosted by LiveWell that takes place at throughout our various city parks and schools that includes a fun day of play, healthy meals and public health resources.
Active Living: LiveWell through their different events and initiatives continues to promote active, healthy living throughout Newport. This includes regular free exercise and yoga classes that take place throughout the city.
