We believe West Newport deserves a comprehensive neighborhood development plan that is created by the residents that live here. To do this, we have partnered with Hub+Weber and Interact for Health to create a community led plan for the neighborhood. Over the last several months, we have been meeting with residents throughout West Newport on what they love about their neighborhood, the challenges the neighborhood faces and what they want the future of the neighborhood look like. Through this process of hosting several community engagement sessions, we are slowly creating a comprehensive development plan for the neighborhood based in equity that represents the vision residents see for their neighborhood.
